Meet Gabe Brucato
Hi! I'm Gabe Brucato, an Italian-American independent filmmaker and artist raised in Bologna, Italy, and now based in Chicago. My work explores themes of faith, memory, nostalgia, and human connection, often through intimate, character-driven stories.
Storytelling has always been at the center of what I create, whether through film, photography, poetry, or prose. My goal is to create work that lingers with audiences long after the credits roll or the final page is turned. I'm currently developing my third feature film while continuing to pursue photography, poetry, and short stories. No matter the medium, I hope each piece invites people to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with both the world around them and the stories within themselves.
