Under one Sky

My youngest and broadest seres yet, Under One Sky is an ongoing photographic series created across the United States, and a sister series to "Italia". Through both intimate portraits and sweeping landscapes, it explores views and moments that feel uniquely and characteristically American. I have experienced America as both an outsider and someone gradually making it home, so traveling across the country with a camera has helped me understand the vastness and complexity of the place I now inhabit. If Italia looks back toward the country that shaped my earliest memories, Under One Sky looks forward, tracing the places that have shaped who I am becoming. Together, the two bodies of work explore the experience of living between cultures. While diffrent places may define different chapters of our lives, they are ultimately connected by the same human desire to belong. Beneath different horizons, we all live under one sky.
